About Ryan
My dog Jimmy
Alongside my therapy practice, I spent four seasons (2021–2025) as the primary on-site therapist for the Iowa Cubs, the Triple-A affiliate of the Chicago Cubs. During this time, I worked closely with players and coaches, providing individualized mental health support with an emphasis on managing stress and anxiety, navigating performance demands, and maintaining overall well-being in a highly competitive setting.
Today, my work is focused primarily on my solo practice, supporting teens and adults through a wide range of mental health concerns.
While my experience with professional athletes has been meaningful, my work as a therapist is not defined by sports. I genuinely enjoy the work I do and value the opportunity to support people as they navigate life’s challenges. Mental health concerns affect individuals across all walks of life, and the same principles of self-awareness, resilience, and emotional balance apply whether someone is an athlete, a professional, a parent, or a student. I welcome the opportunity to work with you and help you discover how therapy can be meaningful and helpful in your own life.
